the girls4economics founder, aanya, is a rising sophomore in a high school located in central jersey. she found that many economists being represented on the bloomberg, wall street journal, and other publications were men and she did not find many women economists. aanya sought out to create an inclusive environment for girls to pursue an area of study she is passionate about - girls economics education, as well as using it to improve the lives of underserved communities. aanya believes in what economics education for girls can do for us as a society, and is passionate about creating an inclusive community that includes girls in making changes for betterment, to ensure betterment 

economics affects everyone across the globe, meaning that we need our economists to come from varied backgrounds, based on gender, ethnicity, race, nationalities, and more to ensure that the way we make choices is accessible to all. unfortunately, that is not the state of the status quo. thats why you should choose girls4economics for your economics education, as our priorities are to ensure economic policy includes all, the lens through which we will educate the females of the future. it is essential for economic policymakers to consider women when attempting to grow their delegations, as we play a huge role in the economy of the world, and DESERVE TO BE HEARD
